As Lead UX Designer at Paytm Labs, I led the end-to-end design and integration of Perplexity AI’s payment subsystem, enabling advanced tracking, management, prediction, and optimization of user financial activity. I managed a cross-functional team of seven—spanning UX and graphic designers, a product manager, and fintech researchers—to identify core user and system challenges and implement trusted, high-performance design practices for a complex third-party integration. I established a dedicated design system to ensure consistency and scalability, while remaining hands-on in designing the Perplexity integration, improving usability, performance perception, and user trust across the experience.
